The appearance of artificial limb brings convenience and welfare to amputees, and makes life more confident. What factors should be considered when installing the prosthesis?

1. First of all, before installing the product, you need to check your physical condition carefully. Only to ensure that the amputee's physical indicators are normal and the physical quality is OK can some complications and injuries be aggravated in the later stage. Therefore, the amputees should be reminded to consult more good therapists, make reasonable rehabilitation plans, and design the products.

2. After making a suitable prosthesis and assembling it, the amputee should carry out some rehabilitation training at the same time. The strength should be increased slowly. It is not allowed to carry out the activities with high intensity directly, which is easy to affect the effect of auxiliary equipment and shorten its service life. Generally, after necessary treatment and training, muscle strength and joint activities will be relatively more flexible.

In addition to training, amputees should pay attention to the maintenance of the receiving cavity, regularly clean the body, prevent the occurrence of pathogens, and affect the health of the stumps. After using for a period of time, we should pay attention to the regular institutions for reexamination, evaluate the auxiliary devices from the perspective of compensatory function or treatment of diseases, and analyze whether the prosthesis needs to be adjusted or replaced.
