When I first started using prosthetics
Initial prostheses, must be gradual, the first day of training, preferably not more than half a day, such as painless the next day can continue to practice. When friction pain is found in the load-bearing area, remove the prosthesis and apply some cool oil to the pain area, if the skin is worn out, use non-irritating ointment. When redness and swelling disappear, you can gradually increase the time and number of exercise.
The training is mainly indoor, in the sure use of artificial limbs before outdoor practice. When you start using prostheses, you should be patient, persistent, and not afraid hardship. Let the prosthetic to be a part of your body need the right way. There is a training process to get the natural gait and use it freely for the prosthetic user: training —— mastery —— proficiency.
