Wearing method:

1. The amputee can choose to sit on a chair or stand, and apply talcum powder or talcum powder on the stump.

2. Wrap the residual limb with a relatively smooth and thin silk, or put a roll-up banner (special cover for prosthetics) on the residual limb. The amputee should take care that the cloth and socks covered are flat and without wrinkles.

3. Remove the negative pressure valve on the receiving cavity.

4. Put the wrapping cloth or the distal end of the sock into the receiving cavity.

5. Pass the distal end of the cloth or sock through the hole of the valve hole.

6. Insert the residual limb into the receiving cavity.

7. Stand up, straighten the prosthesis, press the prosthesis with one hand to prevent the joint from bending, and pull the cloth out with the other hand. Pay attention to the skin feel when pulling out the wrapping cloth. To feel that the wrapping around the residual limb is not enough, you can pull it out with more force. In addition, if the knee joint of the healthy leg can do some flexion and extension when pulling the cloth, so that the residual limb can move up and down in the receiving cavity (that is, the residual limb can move up and down), it is easier to completely pull the residual limb into the receiving cavity.

8. After pulling out all the wrapping cloth, you can properly adjust the tension of the residual limb skin around the upper edge of the receiving cavity, and then install a negative pressure valve.
