 Prosthetic Knee/hip joints are exposed to rain/water, first use a hair dryer and cold air to deal with it urgently and contact your prosthesis assembly company by telephone, explain the situation and ask them to give a solution.

The mechanical part of the prosthetic upper limb can also be treated with cold air from a hair dryer. At the same time, it is best to contact the prosthetic company to explain the situation and see if they have a better solution.

Do not move the screws of your prosthesis for emergency treatment. Once you move the screws, your prosthetic line of force may be "confused", and you may feel like you have changed your leg when you put it on again.

After the rainstorm is over, in order to use the prosthesis safely in the later period, try to choose a sunny day to go to your prosthesis assembly company to do a "maintenance" for the prosthesis.
